A fantastic Teams effort for the Trinity Term

24 Apr 2020

The start of the Trinity Term saw the launch of the Witham Hall Remote Teaching and Learning Platform. After a day of getting to grips with the mechanics of logging on and finding our way around Microsoft Teams and Class Notebook, virtual classes were up and running.

After a few weeks of isolation, it was lovely for the children and teachers to see each other again, and there was a real sense of excitement and buzz in our lessons. In our online Assembly on Thursday morning, Mr Peters led the School in celebrating recent successes, while Mr Walker provided some valuable technical wisdom.

Activities in Form time have included sharing recipes and bringing pets to Form periods. In addition to some fabulously engaging lessons, some excellent resources have been provided for Sport, Art, Music, Drama and Wellbeing…and there’s more to come! We are really excited about the opportunities that this platform offers, not only during this period, but for how it might enrich our learning when we make our physical return to School.
