Equestrian update

30 Mar 2021

Competitions have been on hold for the Lent Term, but that hasn’t stopped our Equestrian Team from keeping busy.
Both Imogen and Violet have spent the time getting used to their lovely new ponies; Issy has been very busy on her pony Checco, jumping nearly everything in sight.
Ava has been teaching her ponies to point their toes in dressage, and Clara has been tuning up her two ponies ahead of the start of the eventing season. Nancy has managed to find herself a rather oversized hacking partner, Jemima has been handing out a lot of kisses (alongside practicing her jumping!) and Etta has had the most wonderful time helping to bring the new foals from the stud farm into the world. Everyone has really enjoyed hacking and having time to explore their local areas, but the the favourite activity of the term definitely seems to be jumping the Christmas tree.
As always, the ponies have proved the perfect antidote to the trials and tribulations of lockdown and the team are looking forward to getting out and about with them very soon.
