The Tate Great Cake Bake
02 Jun 2015
The smell of sweet, delicious cakes and biscuits filled the corridors and courtyard of Witham Hall for this year’s Tate Great Cake Bake. Members of Tate house and their families busily baked away during the week to produce cakes to sell on the Friday before half term.
The monies raised for the bake are going to be split between our two very worthy house charities, Kesteven Children in Need and The Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
A big thank you must go to the parent volunteers who helped price up the cakes and set up the stalls. The Year 8 volunteers did a grand job of manning the stalls and resisted the temptation to devour the cakes instead of selling them!
In total we raised £201, which will be split between our two house charities.
Thank you to all those who bought and enjoyed the cakes; your donations are much appreciated.
