The final race of the afternoon was the U13 Boys race. The team was unfortunately missing their captain Rori through illness, but Frankie did a great job as stand in captain and Hans stepped up to fill his space in the team. Ewan had a great run as one of the youngest competitors, being placed 2nd with a time of 13.38. Hans did himself and the school proud, coming 8th in 15.02, with Frankie 17th (16.19), Finn 18th (16.20) and Oliver 19th (16.26). The team did really well to place 4th in the team event.

The final award of the day was given to the best team as a whole, with every single runner counting. Brilliantly, Witham Hall very proudly collected this award and it will sit alongside the Senior Girls trophy in the cabinet. Very well done to all competitors, and very many thanks to parents, Mrs Morgan-Jones, Miss Robinson and Gary Thorpe for their support.
