Witham Goes Wild for the West
25 May 2017
On Saturday 20th May Year 4 enjoyed a ‘Wild West Day.’ The children dressed for the occasion and we had several cowgirls and boys, pioneers and Native Americans having fun in the Stimson Hall. We played games, ate pancakes with maple syrup and tried cornbread spread with the butter that we had made. Both were delicious! The highlight of the day was making a model of a prairie schooner; just like the ones used by the pioneers when travelling West. The children were incredibly enthusiastic and learned a great deal.
