Equestrian update

05 Feb 2018

Sunday 28th January 2018 at Aston le Walls (Bloxham School Eventer Trial Series)

This was the 5th event of the series ahead of the Finals on the 25th February, so placings were as important as ever to gain points for the Finals. Again, the competition was strong with over 30 in the class.

Jemima Foljambe was competing for the first time on her new pony 'Duke'. They produced a lovely clear round over the show-jumps, but unfortunately as they left the first arena to go through the water complex into the cross country part , Duke took a dislike to the water complex and this resulted in Jemima having to retire.

George Vergerson-Rowley had suffered a rotational fall the day before in training, but escaped with just a few bruises. Here, George rode 'Shaney' to a super clear round, going on to win for the third time in the series. He then rode Timmy to a foot perfect round, ultimately being placed 6th.

A good day. Well done to both!
