Year 6 trip to the Black Country Living Museum

01 Mar 2018

On Thursday 8th February, Year 6 made the trip to the west midlands to visit the Black Country Living Museum.  Having studied Industrial era Britain this term the pupils were able to get a real taste for life at this time.  Pupils saw what industrial housing was like, what types of jobs people did at this time and pupils even experienced an Industrial era school lesson.  Most popular event of the day however seemed to be enjoying that toys children played with over a century ago…..I quote Henri “the hoop and stick is better than any electronic device”.
