Annual Clay Shoot Competition
Saturday, 9th May, 2026
We are delighted to invite you to our FOW Witham Hall Annual Clay Shooting Competition on Saturday, 9th May, 2026. The day will commence with a Welcome Breakfast in the Library at Witham Hall from 8.30am. Guests will then depart and reconvene at Grimsthorpe Estate Shooting Ground where the competition will start at 9.30am.
The morning will include a 50 bird English Sporting target shoot across various stands plus a Team bird target flush. We welcome teams of four (one person in each team must be a current OR past parent/pupil of Witham Hall).
The entry fee is £60 per person or £240 per team (cartridges are not included).
A presentation will be held at the end of the event and the cafe and bar at Grimsthorpe Estate will be open. Prizes will be awarded for:
- Highest scoring team;
- Highest Individual Gun;
- Highest Scoring Team in the Flush.
A raffle will be held on the day to support the school’s charity, The Willoughby Foundation in Bourne, which provides education for children with highly Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
